Dr. Fish is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon that specializes in total joint arthroplasty of the hip, knee, and shoulder, arthroscopic surgery, and sports medicine.
A native of Des Moines, Dr. Fish earned his bachelor's degree from the Moody Bible Institute on the Near North Side of Chicago before moving back to Iowa to complete his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Des Moines University. Following medical school graduation, he moved to Michigan to complete his residency in orthopedic surgery and Michigan State University in East Lansing. He continued his education with a joint replacement and sports medicine fellowship in Indianapolis.
Dr. Fish is dedicated to sharing his knowledge and expertise as a lecturer and member or the faculty at Des Moines University. He is currently the vice president of the Adult Reconstructive Arthritis Section of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics.
