Todd Peterson, DO, FAAOS
Dr. Peterson is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with extensive experience performing orthopedic surgery to address conditions of the hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow.
A native of Des Moines, Dr. Peterson earned his medical degree from Des Moines University. He relocated to Detroit, Michigan to complete his orthopedic residency at Ascension St. John Hospital, followed by a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield.
Following his fellowship training, Dr. Peterson returned to Iowa, where he currently serves on the faculty of special medicine at Des Moines University. Dr. Peterson is a sought-after lecturer both at the local and national level.
